Installation & Maintenance
Tools Required: Fuel line disconnect tool, torque wrench (10mm socket), OBD-II scanner.
Steps:
Depressurize the Fuel System:
Disconnect the fuel pump relay and run the engine until it stalls to relieve pressure.
Access the Fuel Pump:
Remove rear seat or trunk access panel, then disconnect electrical connectors and fuel lines.
Replace the Assembly:
Install the 2K0919050A, ensuring proper alignment of seals and connectors. Torque mounting bolts to 8–12 Nm.
Post-Installation Checks:
Prime the system by cycling the ignition 3–5 times, then check for leaks and clear error codes.
Maintenance Recommendations:
Inspection Interval: Replace the integrated filter every 30,000 miles or as per manufacturer guidelines.
Failure Symptoms:
Engine Stalling: Indicates insufficient fuel pressure or clogged filters.
Whining Noise: Sign of worn bearings or cavitation.
